This is a biker romance book and I don't always enjoy them. This book wasn't bad but also it was great because it falls short in some areas for me.
Cooper - He is your typical biker guy... drinking, club duties, women and bikes. Yet he also has a very softer side that pulls at your heart. He grew up as part of the club and that has been his life. He has goals with the club and having an old lady isn't one of them.
Bristyl - Her family is part of another biker group. Her family doesn't treat her very well just because she is a female and can't be part of the group unless she is an old lady to someone in their group. Which isn't what she wants.
What I didn't like about this book: How her family wanted to force her to be with a member of their group just so they could treat her like part of the family. Yes, it is explained why they did that but that is just something that didn't sit well with me. The title of the book just leads you to believe that they put their family inf front of all others, but that doesn't appear to be the case with this book.
Narration was provided by Joe Arden and Lucy Rivers - they were very easy to listen to and do a good job of coming across well and work well together.
