How to Date a Douchebag Series by Sara Ney

The Studying Hours The Failing Hours The Learning Hours The Coaching Hours The Lying Hours

How to Date a Douchebag Series by Sara Ney

Book 1: The Studying Hours
Book 2: The Failing Hours
Book 3: The Learning Hours
Book 4: The Coaching Hours
Book 5: The Lying Hours

So I had to re-read this series because I wanted to read "The Lying Hours" and I felt like it would be better to re-read the first four book first. Also I love this author, so I get hooked on her books. I loved this series. Some of the guys are not douchebag's but that's okay. I would not want to hear their stories just because of that. This series does a good job of telling you about some side characters which help draw you into the next book. I am now waiting for the next book to come out. I hope this author just keeps going with this series.

OhellNo Series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Smart Tass (OHellNo, #1)Smart Tass by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tassie and Hunter have known each other since they were little. They both had a crush on each other for years, but both saw their relationship as something completely different than what it actually was. Throughout this whole book I found myself going back and forth from think that Hunter was an awful guy than that he was a great guy. Once they both stop and think about the past you start to see that they are both good people just had a misunderstanding of how they really felt.

Narrated by Lauren Sweet and she did a great job.

Fumbled by T.K. Rapp

Fumbled (The Girls of Beachmont, #1)Fumbled by T.K. Rapp
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dani is kind and loving. She finds herself on the side of the road trying to fix her flat and she seems to be struggling a little, until Tabor offers to help her out. Tabor is just trying to hide who is because people seem to go crazy over him because of who is. Dani doesn’t have a clue until her family feels her in. She decides to give him a chance. The story flows pretty well. However, I felt like they fall in love to fast unless the time frame is a little longer than explained. Also, they both just gave up to fast for two people that loved each other so much.

What I liked least about this book? Dani has a relationship from her past that she wasn’t honest with herself, family, or friends about. This made me think that she wasn’t as strong a female character that I would have thought without this part.

This book is narrated by Paul Brion and Angel Clark. They both do a great job and bring a little more to the story.

Resisting Roots, Sacred Serenity by Audrey Carlan

Resisting RootsResisting Roots by Audrey Carlan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I recently discovered Audrey Carlan after reading Calendar Girl series (if you have not read that yet, I suggest you do, very different romance book but still great!). This book hooked me in very fast. The story over all was very good.

Genevieve ~ Is a hard working, caring, loving woman he has put her siblings before herself. She is making the most out of her life that she can after her parents pass away and she has to take care of her siblings. She works a few jobs to help pay for things. She doesn't like to take people's help and thinks that she needs to do this all on her own.

Trent ~ is the cocky baseball player that gets hurt and ends up at the Lotus House Yoga Center for recuperation. He begins to fall her fast, but has to push past all her walls and prove that he wants to be with her and help her out.

This is narrated by Holly Chandler and Jacob Morgan, they do a great job together.

Sacred Serenity (Lotus House #2)Sacred Serenity by Audrey Carlan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book even more than the first one, because Amber know what she wanted from life and what she was willing to do with out a committed relationship and she stayed with that through out this whole book. A lot of times you seen a female lead just give into what the guys wants.

Amber ~ was a very sweet and kind person. She only had her grandma because she lost her mother at child birth and didn't know who he father was. It was very easy to see where the secret of this book was going, but I was still very pleased with the way that it all worked out for her. To see her finally find out more about her mother and her past. She knows what she wants and what she will not take and she sticks with it through out this whole book.

Dash ~ is the love guru and never thought he would find that one special person that he would be with the rest of his life. He is very understanding and giving with Amber though out this whole book.

This was narrated by Daxton Shade and Caitlin Elizabeth, they did a great job. I also enjoyed that they picked deterrent narrators from book one.

Unfortunately, at this point and time I am not moving onto the third book. I started it but was just not being pulled in by either character. However, I am hoping to go back and give it another try at some point because there is a lot more in this series yet that I would like to finish.
